During Advent, special regulations apply to bus parking in Graz:

Pick-up and drop-off points – no parking!

• Opernhaus | Franz-Graf-Allee: Opera House | Franz-Graf-Allee – Eastern lane in the northbound direction between Glacisstraße and Opernring, all day from 11/21/2025, 4 pm to 12/24/2025, 2 pm
• Halle für Kunst | Burgring 2 – Western lane in a southerly direction, all day from 11/21/2025, 4 pm to 12/24/2025, 2 pm

Bus parking spaces in the green zone in Graz 
(free on weekends!)

• Georgigasse – east of the intersection with Schloßstraße (starting after the indentation), heading east (length 80 metres), all day from 11/21/2025 to 12/23/2025, Monday to Friday, green zone (ticket must be purchased on working days)
• Schloßstraße – opposite Schloßstraße 20, west side, starting after the diagonal parking spaces, heading south, up to the definitive no stopping and no parking zone ‘Ende’ and starting from the southern edge of the building at Schloßstraße 20, heading north to the northern edge of the building at Schloßstraße 20, all day from 11/21/2025 to 12/23/2025, Monday to Friday, green zone (ticket must be purchased on working days)

Free bus parking:

• Beginning at Wilhelm-Fischer-Allee, westbound lane heading south, from 11/21 to 12/21/2025, Fridays to Sundays, 8 am to 11 pm
• Hohenstaufengasse 6, access via Lazarettgürtel and Kärntner Straße. 26 parking spaces available – 11/22, 11/29, 12/06, 12/08, 12/13 and 12/20/2025, from 8.30 am to 8 pm. Public transport will take you from this car park to the city centre in around 20 minutes!
• Griesplatz, westbound lane heading south, 11/21 to 12/24/2025, 2 pm to 11 pm. Regiobus stops must be kept clear!
• Triester Straße – Central Cemetery (Zentralfriedhof), 11/21 to 12/24/2025, 4 pm to 11 pm.
