Schlossberg

A garden on a hill?

Graz has that, too! Up on Schlossberg hill, Herbersteingarten is a lovely place to enjoy the afternoon sun. The urban oasis used to be a vineyard, which explains the southern atmosphere of the garden. In 1930, it was first opened to the public.
Our tip: Fill your hamper with delicious treats from the city’s farmer’s market and enjoy an al fresco picnic!
