Graz Krampus Parade on 8 November 2026
Event starts: 2 pm | Parade starts: 6 pm
On 8 November 2026, Karmeliterplatz and Freiheitsplatz in Graz will become the setting for the traditional Krampus parade. Numerous Krampus groups will present their elaborate masks and bring this traditional custom to life.
- Children’s programme from 2 pm at Freiheitsplatz
- At the same time, live music and a DJ will provide entertainment at Karmeliterplatz throughout the afternoon and into the evening. TORIA, a contestant on “The Voice of Germany”, will also perform several songs.
- At 6 pm, the big Graz Krampus Parade begins. Numerous Krampus groups with elaborately designed masks and impressive costumes will once again create spine-tingling moments. Tradition, customs and spectacular performances come together to create a unique experience in the heart of Graz. Parade route: Karmeliterplatz and Freiheitsplatz
- There is also plenty to enjoy when it comes to food and drink: a large food area with a varied selection of dishes and beverages invites visitors to stay and enjoy the atmosphere.

Note from the organiser: Due to extensive construction work and a clash of dates with other major events, the 2026 Graz Krampus Run will exceptionally take place on 8 November 2026 – and thus before the traditional start of the Krampus season following 11 November.
