International Dance Theatre Festival Graz: Double Bill Xianghui Zeng & KOMOCO Dance
An evening of dance featuring three extraordinary artists who use the expressive power of dance and every movement of their bodies to create a moving experience for the audience.
“Dark Lake – Deep Forest” by Xianghui Zeng: An ode to the mystical – this is the theme of Xianghui Zeng’s touching solo performance “Dark Lake, Deep Forest”. The artist knows how to transform the mythology of his culture and bring it into a European context through dance.
“The Fridas.” by KOMOCO Dance: A duet inspired by Frida Kahlo’s painting “The Two Fridas”. An exquisite dance theatre performance featuring a remarkable duo whose expressive movements extend to their fingertips and are currently captivating audiences across Europe. The two dancers explore the complex theme of human identity through a relationship characterised by complicity and contrast. A must for dance theatre enthusiasts!
