Forest Festival at Graz’s Main Square, June 10, 2026
Forests play an extremely important role in our lives in the Alpine region. Twenty-seven partner organizations will come together to showcase the versatility and innovation of Styrian forestry. Celebrate a Forest Day that highlights the entire value chain—to strengthen rural areas and preserve biodiversity. Information booths
Program:
10 am Opening remarks by Norbert Seidl
11 am Creative competition awards ceremony
12.30 pm Fashion show by the Graz Fashion School “Forest Walk – Nature Worn on the Skin”
3 pm Fashion show by the Graz Fashion School

There will also be presentations at the information booths, expert insights, and introductions to the participating organizations.
A chainsaw performance, the forest quiz, and other activities such as paper making and shingle splitting round out the program.
Culinary offerings: Styrian wines from the Schlögl Winery, cuisine from “Wilde Kuchl”
