Voices of Spirit 2027 – International Choir Festival in Graz
Concerts, workshops and singing together transform Graz into a “Singing City”
From 5 to 8 May 2027, Graz will once again become a “Singing City”: The 13th International Choir Festival Voices of Spirit brings together choirs, ensembles and singing enthusiasts from Austria and around the world. For four days, choral music, international encounters and singing together take centre stage. The programme features numerous concerts, workshops, masterclasses and opportunities to take part in musical activities.
Organised by the Styrian Choir Association (Chorverband Steiermark) since 2014, the festival offers both experienced choirs and individual singers the opportunity to make music alongside internationally renowned artists.
Long Night of Choirs in Graz’s Historic Centre
The festival kicks off on Wednesday, 5 May 2027, with the Long Night of Choirs. Numerous choirs from Austria and abroad transform Graz’s historic centre into one large concert stage. Audiences can enjoy a varied programme of choral music at ten venues, including churches, historic halls and courtyards.
The opening takes place at 6 pm in the Landhaushof, followed by concerts at various locations throughout the city centre from 7 pm to 9.30 pm. The evening concludes with a joint finale featuring the Ringmasters at 9.45 pm in the Landhaushof.
Admission to the Long Night of Choirs is free.
