KLANGLICHT 2026
KLANGLICHT 2026 explores the theme of time, drawing visitors into the unique world of Eggenberg Palace and fostering a dialogue between historic architecture and contemporary art. This unique venue becomes not merely a backdrop, but the very starting point for an artistic exploration of time, history, order and change. Light and sound reveal hidden connections, allowing the palace to be experienced in new dimensions.
KLANGLICHT is organised on behalf of Bühnen Graz and, since 2015, has been bringing the magic of two central elements of theatre out into the city: through light and sound, people are inspired and moved, emotions are stirred, and moments of wonder are created.
In 2026, KLANGLICHT returns to a venue it already transformed with light and sound in 2021: Eggenberg Palace in Graz, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Seeing and hearing, immersing oneself, feeling and, for a brief moment, letting oneself be carried away by art – this year’s festival promises all of this. The festival takes place exclusively in the gardens and rooms of Eggenberg Palace and admission is only possible with a valid KLANGLICHT ticket and a pre-booked time slot (6 pm, 7 pm, 8 pm or 9 pm). Tickets are available from the Bühnen Graz ticket centre (Kaiser-Josef-Platz 10, 8010 Graz) or online.
